Softstuf,
founded in 1991, is a Philadelphia based corporation that specializes in
the design of advanced analysis systems for measuring performance of large electrical
power systems during fault and disturbance conditions. Softstuf is the home of the
Wavewin® software and the Sniffer data acquisition tools.

We are pleased to introduce our latest product, the Wavewin Sniffer
. The Sniffer is a mini-DAU that
measures AC & DC transients using a laptop computer. The Sniffer consists of a 8 or 12 port
recorder that transmits data continuously to a laptop computer over a USB or Ethernet connection.
The USB connection uses a single cable for both power and communications. The recorder
connects to non-intrusive, clamp-on sensors that use Hall-Effect Technology to sense
current flow. The Sniffer is ideal when trouble-shooting control circuits, ct and motor currents.
Our latest addition is the Wavewin Sniffer Pro.
The Sniffer Pro includes a hardened industrial enclosure, a laptop computer, 2 TIS
recorders and 16 non-intrusive current sensors. The Wavewin software is also included.
